WEMYSS BAY BEACH, SCOTLAND

WEMYSS BAY , is named after an old 18th century fisherman and bay inhabitant, Robert Wemyss . However, Wemyss derives from the Scottish Gaelic 'uaimh' meaning cave. The full Gaelic name is 'Bagh na h-Uaime' meaning,  Bay of the Cave. I visited this place alone on 1/02/2024. This was planned random. Planned at 2pm and got into the Paisley Gilmour station and took scotrail to wemyss bay station at 3pm. I reached the station around 4 pm. I walked for 10min from the station and on the way I met an old lady with a dog. we had a small chit chat and I took a cute picture with the dog. She spoke to me for few minutes about the place and told me that I am looking pretty and take care of myself with safe travel around. she told me that sometimes its better to travel alone and it help us to feel better in many ways.And she also said that she will look for me around hoping to see again.they we walked past and I started to walk to the beach.It was damn windy and cold, but it was loo...

DEAN VILLAGE IN EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND

Dean Village is one of the his amazing little village with cobbled streets, lovely old and historic buildings and beautiful views along the river Leith. An oasis of calm in the city, it’s a great place to spend some time.  I visited here during winter. It was freezing cold here. But enjoyed coming here since the village was a unique one ! SNOWFALL IN DECEMBER 2023, SCOTLAND

Woke Up from my bed to this beautiful view in the morning. It was 30th December 2023. Felt like perfect way to end a year with a beautiful snowfall in Scotland. I went out enjoyed the moment in the snow and took pictures as you can see the way i did ! Snowfall In Scotland  

ROSEBAY WILLOWHERB, SCOTTISH PINK WILDFLOWER, SCOTLAND

Rosebay Willowherb is a handsome perennial is commonly found in waste ground and urban gap sites throughout Scotland. It also enjoys damp woods and rocky places.As well as seeding on the wind, each plant develops an extensive root system by which it can quickly establish a dense mass on a piece of waste ground turning the area into a pink sea of florescence. Rosebay Willowherb It adopted the nickname ‘bomb weed’ during the war as it was the often the first plant toestablish on a bombsite. ‘ Angustifolium ’ means narrow-leaved. The name is derived from theflowers’ passing resemblance to rose flowers, and the leaves’ resemblance to bay leaves. Angustifolium It has been placed in the genus   Chamerion  ‘ Angustifolium ’.The height is 30-120cm and found around July and Septemper month. Rosebay Willowherb / Scottish Pink Wildflower 

STEVENSTON BEACH, SCOTLAND

Stevenston Beach is 4km long and is backed at its northern end by a large Beach Park and Local Nature Reserve. The nature reserve is principally composed of semi-mobile dunes and contains a wealth of coastal wildflower and insect species. LOCH LOMOND & THE TROSSACHS NATIONAL PARK , SCOTLAND
